Paragon System

Overview

Paragon is an end-game progression system that lets Heroes on their second incarnation (or higher) continue growing beyond level 101. By ascending, you earn paragon levels, granting paragon points that can be invested in two ways:

  • Paragon Skills - Special abilities earned every 100 paragon levels
  • Paragon Stats - Passive bonuses to meta stats (one point per paragon level)

Paragon Stats

Paragon stat points provide passive bonuses to meta stats to provide character power gains past level 101. One stat point is awarded per paragon level and can be distributed to specific categories in a round-robin fashion:

  • Combat - Attack-focused
  • Sustain - Defensive-focused
  • Utility - Non-battle stats

Available Stats:

  • critdamage
  • critchance
  • penetration
  • recuperation
  • concentration
  • endurance
  • prosperity

Paragon Skills

Paragon skills are end game special abilities. Every 100 paragon levels grants one skill point you can invest in three distinct trees:

  • Vanguard - Combat-focused
  • Sorcery - Magic-focused
  • Subtlety - Stealth-focused

Commands

Paragon Status

paragon status

Displays your current level, XP and unspent points.

Paragon Stats

paragon stat

Displays your total stat points (spent and non-spent) and current allocations.

paragon stat allocate <stat_name> [num]

Spend stat points on a chosen meta stat.

paragon stat reset <accept|cancel>

Refund all stat points at the cost of 10 gold per paragon level (capped at 100,000).

Paragon Skills

paragon skill

Shows your total skill points, spent skill points and a breakdown of points per tree.

paragon skill <tree>

Displays every skill in the chosen tree, your current allocations and tier prerequisites.

paragon skill allocate <skill_name>

Spend one skill point on the chosen skill.

paragon skill reset <accept|cancel>

Refund all spent skill points at a cost of 10 gold per paragon level (capped at 100,000).

Train & Practice

The gain command is used to learn new skills once you find the appropriate trainer (e.g., in New Thalos). Gain uses training sessions, not practices (see help train).

Command Description
train <stat> Spend a practice to raise a stat by +1 or gain +10 HP/MP
practice View available practice sessions and % progress for skills/spells
practice <skill|spell> Spend a practice to improve that ability by an INT-based percentage
gain list List all groups and skills available to learn
gain points Spend one gain point (costs two training sessions) to lower your creation points by 1
gain <name> Learn a skill or skill group at its listed gain point cost
gain convert Convert 10 practices into one training session
gain revert Convert one training session back into 10 practices

Note: Gained skills and groups do not increase your experience rate per level or total creation points.

Practice Limits: Skills and spells can be practiced up to 85% at Incarnations: 2.
